Why oh why did i not resist the techie impulse to upgrade to Windows. One of the things I love most about Win Mobile 8.1 and it's predecessors are each email account has it's own live-tile and email count so I can one-touch click into any box I want from the home-screen. My Nokia Lumia 435 was working perfectly - did everything i needed and was really fast. What killed it for me aside from the battery issue was the new Email app. I didn't notice the lack of voice-to-text microphone button for the messaging app, but I probably just missed that. I did notice the battery not lasting nearly as long and the phone losing some of it's snappiness, but it wasn't bad.

Thankfully I have 3 of these phones so can give my girlfriend this new and super windows 10 version and get her Windows8.1 version lol This is really poor, when i wur a programmer back in the 80's black box testing and even simple testing would have found these problems within the first day of testing - With the money Microsoft hass its a complete disgrace that these upgrades dont seem to be tested at all otherwise it would have been caught - If the phone isnt capable of upgrading to windows 10 then why did Microsoft not put a ban on the upgrade!Īnyone else found these issues and more importantly anyone found any way of fixing them or even regressing the phone back to Windows8.1.
